Western Visayas is a region in the Visayas in the Philippines. It is a grouping of the island of Panay and the small island province of Guimaras. Panay Island consists of the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, and Iloilo.

The region is home to world-famous beach of Boracay which is off the coast of Malay.

The region is home to religious cultural festivals famous of which is the Ati-atihan Festival of Kalibo every January. Another popular festival is Dinagyang Festival of Iloilo City every January.

In the provinces of Guimaras and Iloilo, Hiligaynon is predominantly spoken while in Aklan; Akeanon is spoken, Capiznon is spoken in the province of Capiz. Kinaray-a is spoken in Antique. Tagalog is spoken among the provinces. English and Hiligaynon are clearly understood by some and spoken by almost everybody.
