Western Srpska is region in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Includes most part of the Bosnian Krajina (part of which is on the river Vrbas) and Posavina (Bosnian part of which lies along the river Sava)



  • Banja Luka — capital of Republika Srpska, with many historical sights
  • Derventa
  • Doboj — city with a colourful nightlife and an impressive 14th-century fortress
  • Gradiška — town on Croatian border, on the banks of Sava River
  • Mrkonjic Grad
  • Prijedor
  • Teslic — town with mineral water springs, spas, and caves in the surrounding countryside

Dominant language in the region is Serbian. given that the Serbian language has two decrypts, and used both Latin and Cyrillic.
