Stay safe[edit]

In general West Pomeranian voivodeship' s super safe. Big block of flats are, as in most of places in Poland, less safer. The growing problem are wild boars but they're mostly active in nighttime. Drive carefully after dark, especially while crossing forest areas.

LGBT visitors[edit]

West Pomeranian voivodeship's said to be liberal place. Szczecin and Koszalin head annual pride marches (marsz równości). Gdańsk/Trójmiasto pride march occurs in May while Koszalin one takes place in the beginning of April. Gay scene in Szczecin's not much big, same as Koszalin one. Showing public affection in coastal cities as Świnoujście or Kołobrzeg won't catch anyone's attention.

Get out[edit]

Zachodniopomorskie boarders three other Polish voivodships
