It is the largest inland body of water in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and supplies the city of Boston with its water. During spring, summer, and autumn, a trip to the Quabbin is worthwhile. The different lookouts offer views overlooking the body of water. You can also see where the four flooded towns were, at the designated lookouts.
