Vidharbha, (or Nagpur), division is the eastern-most division of Maharashtra state in India.
Vidharbha consists of the districts of Bhandara, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Nagpur and Wardha.

Vidarbha has got its own language which is called as Varhadi. Its one of the version of Marathi language. Apart from Marathi, Hindi is widely used throughtout the Vidarbha region. In fact, Marathi is very well mixed with Hindi and hence its slightly different than pure Marathi language.
The local language is Marathi but hindi is understood by almost all the people.

Sevagram Ashram was the birth place of the Non-Cooperation Movement against British Rule in India Started by Mahatma Gandhiji in the year September 1920 it lasted for 2 years. - Anand Sagar - Shegaon is a religios place in Vidaarbha. Its a place where Gajanan Maharaj temple is there. Thousands of devotees visits Shegaon every year. Anand Sagar is recently formed tourist place in Shegaon. Its scenic and beautiful. Do not miss if you are visiting Shegaon.
