Welcome to Wikitravel[edit]

Welcome to Wikitravel. You can edit your preferences to change how the software works for you. Please take a second to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you're new to our wiki software, MediaWiki, look at the Wiki markup to get an idea of how to edit a page. If you need help, check out the help desk, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. -- Tom Holland (xltel) 23:05, 19 January 2007 (EST)

Hi! Please note that the pages in the User:Cjensen/project/hotelmaker/ namespace are just the results of an automated script - they aren't actually used in the project and are unlikely to ever be seen by travelers. Your time may be better spent editing the actual articles that contain the hotel listings. For example, if the Holiday Inn is now a Wyndham Hotel, create an article for Essington and add the hotel information there. -- Ryan • (talk) • 11:29, 15 June 2010 (EDT)

Don't worry too much about the hotelmaker entries being out of date. Next time I run the bot, it will catch up with all the changes. Thanks! -- Colin 17:24, 2 March 2007 (EST)

O', the humanity![edit]

There's no way you are a "sac of protoplasam." Only robots and scripts could update the hotel list like you do. I dare thee to respond to my message to prove your humanoid existence. -- Sapphire(Talk) • 17:48, 14 April 2008 (EDT)
