Hello, Moon1021! Welcome to Wikitravel.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub.
Thank you for all your additions of hotels to Shanghai and Beijing. I have reverted quite a few of them as you have not put them in the relevant price categories and as many of them have no description and are put in articles with sufficient hotel listing with adequate descriptions and price information

- Please read Wikitravel:Don't tout. It appears that you are changing official hotel web sites to point to other sites - this is a violation of Wikitravel policies. If that's not the case, please clarify, but http://www.newharbourserviceapartments.cn/ looks like a generic booking site, while http://www.newharbourhotel-shanghai.com looks like the official site with information such as daily specials that are specific to the property. -- Ryan • (talk) • 01:32, 17 February 2010 (EST)
- As Claus stated, your edits are being removed because they do not meet our guidelines. Our criteria for hotel chains to list their own properties is very high - see Wikitravel:Accommodation listings. Specifically, make sure listings are added to the right section of the article, include price ranges, and include a description that is not merely marketing promos. When many listings are added that do not meet these criteria they will generally be removed. While we're happy to work with business owners, Wikitravel is meant for travelers and listings must be usable for travel. -- Ryan • (talk) • 01:46, 17 February 2010 (EST)
