If a country or article uses multiple currencies, use the shortest unambiguous form for each. In multi-national articles such as Telephone service for travel this will be the three letter ISO code except for euros, where it will be . For US dollars, this is USD, for Hong Kong dollars HKD and for Canadian dollars CAD, etc, etc.

Incidentally, if you read our North America article, you will see that "North America consists of three large nations and one large island territory that covers most of its area. They are Canada, the United States of America (USA), Mexico and Greenland.
