We do Welcome Wikipedians to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.
Please be aware that the article about Schnack Restaurant is a copyright violation from the Wikipedia article of the same name. As you are not the only contributor of both articles, it cannot be dual licenced to both Wikitravel and Wikipedia.
Furthermore, both myself and others have suggested the article be deleted. Wikitravel is a travel guide, not just a restaurant guide. Please read Wikitravel:What is an article? to understand the articles we write. Articles about individual restaurants are best confined to Wikipedia, while their listings in Wikitravel should follow the format set out in the Manual of style. A lot of the information in the Schnack Restaurant article could be incorporated into the Eat listing in the Brooklyn article, though.
I am sorry if this has been a rather harsh introduction. On the positive side, the image of Red Hook, Brooklyn is intriguing. Please consider contributing to an article about this district of New York. -- Huttite 19:28, 11 Jun 2005 (EDT)
