Hello! Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub.

I'm afraid I had to blank the articles you posted for the Zuiderzee Works. Wikitravel's copyleft isn't compatible with Wikpedia's; we can't copy articles from Wikipedia to here. This is usually not that big a problem, since encyclopedia articles aren't really what we want for our travel guide, anyways. You may want to look at Wikitravel:What is an article? to get a feel for the kind of stuff we're looking for.

Thanks for your contributions so far -- looking forward to seeing what you have in store for the future. --Evan 19:42, 12 Jan 2004 (EST)

You uploaded the image Image:DSCF0060.JPG of the Afsluitdijk, however the Wikitravel:Image policy requests copyright information before the image can be used. Can you please advise if you took this photograph yourself and if the people in the photograph consent to its publication. -- Huttite 04:31, 2 Apr 2004 (EST)
