To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. Hi, DeepPurple and welcome! Policy on these links is at: Wikitravel:Links to Wikipedia. In general we minimize the links in the article text. I thought the one you had on the trees OK and left it, but someone else might disagree later. Folks can look up anything they don't understand easily enough on their own if necessary, but we should really have the cool stuff here anyways (for example you explained the unusual nest of the bird--maybe could even expand on that). A standard Wikipedia link is provided in the left margin as explained. Good stuff, though. Keep it coming! OldPine 11:41, 15 August 2007 (EDT)
