Hi, David. Welcome to Wikitravel. Please take a sec to look at our copyleft and policies and guidelines, but feel free to plunge forward and edit some pages. Scanning the Manual of style, especially the article templates, can give you a good idea of how we like articles formatted. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, and if you need some info not on there, post a message in the travellers' pub. --Evan 02:16, 26 Jan 2004 (EST)
You didn't mention that you liked maps! We've got a Mapmaking Expedition going, but we really need help nailing down the process. It's hard! There are a few maps on the site, but nowhere near what we need for a real travel guide. --Evan 23:04, 28 Jan 2004 (EST)
While I'm spamming your talk page...
...I should probably point out that I really like the Visual Language wiki. Nicely done and a very important subject. I'm fascinated to think about collaborative development of visual language in the next few years. I know it's not all about that, but... it'd sure be fun. --Evan 23:29, 28 Jan 2004 (EST)

David's planning a trip
I'm planning a trip, and naturally the first place I turn to is Wikitravel.
Feel free to ask me to take photos of specific locations in Oklahoma or near my upcoming Europe trip.
