  • You're welcome, I love WikiTravel and love to help. Unfortunately, the amount of spam pages today keeps growing... CheeseCrisps (talk) 15:22, 31 October 2014 (EDT)
I see you are from the Netherlands, we can always use help on the dutch version as well, if you like ofcourse. Here you are a great help already! Adzas (talk) 14:36, 1 November 2014 (EDT)
I like the English version better (because it's bigger) and working on it helps me with my English, so for the moment I'm focusing on that one. CheeseCrisps (talk) 11:08, 7 November 2014 (EST)
Yes, it's really unfortunate. I think the fact that the site has high traffic coupled with open editing to anyone makes us a likely target for spammers. Just know we are definitely not standing still on this issue! IBcaldera (talk) 14:51, 3 November 2014 (EST)

for volunteering to be a docent for the Netherlands ! --Ttcf (talk) 20:50, 5 November 2014 (EST)

Thanks, I always try to do good catches, this was one :) CheeseCrisps (talk) 18:06, 21 November 2014 (EST)

I'm puzzled[edit]

as to why you're changing the first letter of a template from upper case to lower case when, as far as I'm aware, it has no effect on how the template operates.

I'm not saying this is wrong, just really puzzled as to why you're bothering. Is there something I've missed? --Ttcf (talk) 18:53, 22 November 2014 (EST)

I've certainly seen a few cases when changing that letter to lower case makes the breadcrumb show up again. I don't know why, but I can always try when it's not working. Thing that certainly works is an extra enter between the isPartOf and other {{ }} thingies. CheeseCrisps (talk) 07:48, 24 November 2014 (EST)
Ahhhhhhh, that's TWO mysteries solved! I should imagine these edits force the server-side cache to refresh. Excellent work you're doing in repairing some of these geo breadcrumb trails by the way. Well done! --Ttcf (talk) 15:16, 24 November 2014 (EST)
