Hello! Welcome to Wikitravel. I had to revert your edit on the Ramla page as it did not follow our Listings and external links guidelines. To help get you started contributing, we've created a quick contribution guide and tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Wikitravel:Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. -- Adzas (talk) 11:50, 3 January 2014 (EST)
Thanks for your message about my edit on the Ramla page. First of all, there is definately no need to use a tone like you did, calling names etc. We are always checking all edits as carefully as possible, and no, I didn´t identify your link as the official url of Ramla as it pointed just to one area of interest (the Karaite center), while the official link should be just the main page, and two other links were added. This I have corrected, the official link now shows at the top of the article. We do appreciate everyone´s contributions, but I would like to ask you if in future you have any questions about any of our actions, just ask in a nice way, no need to become rude. I would also recommend that you create an account, so people can see who is making edits. Thanks and kind regards, Adzas (talk) 08:36, 5 January 2014 (EST)
Additionally to what Adzas said above, please get familiar with the listings format in section Eat. We don't insert there links to websites that host "official" data but we create an informative description of a restaurant, optionally adding an official link to the restaurant's website. This should be clear and respected by our contributors. If you have any questions or you still need an expalation how to edit on Wikitravel, please let us know.
