Went to Dixie College (later called Dixie State College) for the summer and fall terms of 1996. May be remembered by some from that area as being affiliated with OrangeMan of OrangeMan and BrightGuy. Left Dixie College early to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Served for 2 years in the Pocatello, Idaho mission. Returned home in April of 1999 and began attending Chaffey Community College. Graduated from Chaffey with an AA in general studies. Attended California State University San Bernardino and received a BA in social science. Continued on at CSUSB to receive teaching credentials.
First job was at McDonald's in Upland. Worked chiefly at the cash registers as well as dressing as Grimace and standing on the street corner advertising cheap hamburgers. Also worked at the student store at Upland High School and did some temp. work at a hospital. Delivered pizzas for Domino's while attending Chaffey College and then later worked in the campus cafeteria as a short order cook and general crew member. After leaving Chaffey College got a job as a driving instructor with Baldy View Driving School. Continued there until reception of teaching credentials whereupon employment was focused on finding a full time teaching job via substitute teaching in the Corona/Norco and Upland school districts. After working for a few years doing this a job was secured with Options For Youth, an independent-study charter school. Worked at the Fontana2 center to begin with and is currently teaching at the Fontana1 center in Fontana, California.
Currently trying to visit (or at least pass through) all 50 of the United States. Drives through most of these states. Trips to date have included traversing Interstate 10, following LDS church history from California to Chicago and back, a couple trips to New England, and driving to the town of Hyder, Alaska. Took a trip to the northern midwest to see Mount Rushmore, Milwuakee, the Upper Peninsula, the KVLY tv tower in Blanchard, ND, and Old Faithful. Also travelled through the upper south and enjoyed the tour at the Louisville Slugger factor, Mammoth Caves, the outer banks of North Carolina, and Graceland. This only leaves Hawaii to still see.
