Type of Trekking Tea House Trekking in Nepal Basically There are two types of trekking in Nepal Tea House Trekking and Camping Trekking. Along the main trails is the most common style, every places you will get guest houses it is possible to trek in comfort with minimal preparation, equipment and support. Everest Trekking Everest Trekking is most popular trekking destination in Nepal which is located eastern part of Nepal and protected by Sagarmatha (Everest) national park, established in 1976 with an area of 1148 square Kilometers. Everest trekking offers great opportunity to have unique experience of heigest mountain of the world Everest 8848 M. as well as sherpa culrure. In 1952 when two renewed figures Sir Edmund Hillary and Mr. Tenzing Norgey Sherpa a Sherpa took the route of the everest trail to summit the world's highest peak, from that the entqire Everest Region become popular for Trekkers and nature Lovers alike. Annapurna Trekking Annapurna Trekking is also popular treks in Nepal, about two-thirds of the trekkers in Nepal visit the Annapurna region. Annapurna trekking is the name given to the treks to the famous Annapurna mountains in central Nepal Himalaya. There are altogether five mountains on the Annapurna range. Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna II 7937m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Annapurna South 7273m. Besides the Annapurnas, there are others mountains you enjoy viewing in Annapurna trekking such as Dhaulagiri 8167 m. Machhapuchare (Fish Tail mountain) 6997m, Nilgiri, Tukche etc. All the treks in Annapurna region (except Annapurna circuit) start or end in Pokhara .This region spreads from the foothills near Pokhara to the alpine meadows and to the Tibetan pleateau on the northen , Tibetan side of the Himalaya. Thus it covers a area with a great variation in landscape, flora , fauna and the people. Hence Annapurna trekking is a rich experience not only for mountain scenery but also culturally, ethnologically, and in a naturalist's point of view. It is a rare tour anywhere to have such a rich and varied experience in a single hiking. Another reason for the popularity of Annapurna trek is the different options available for hiking in this region. langtang Trekking Trekking in Langtang Region is one of the popular classic treks in Nepal. Langtang lies north of Kathmandu and some of the Langtang mountains can be seen even from Kathmandu. Langtang is a narrow valley lying south of Tibetan border. The valley lies between main Himalaya range to the north and small snowy peaks to the south. It offers opportunity to explore ethnic Tamang villages, climb small peaks and see the glaciers at relatively low altitude and within short time frame. The walking is also not strenuous. Once you reach the valley the mountain scenery is exceptionally beautiful. Langtang trek also offers some of the oldest monasteries , vibrant Tibetan-Buddhist culture and plenty of Yak herds on alpine meadows. The important mountains in Langtang region are - Langtang Lirung 7246m, Gang Chhenpo 6388m, Naya Kangri 5846m, Dorje Lakpa 6966m. Other mountains like Hiunchuli, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal as well as the Shishapangma mountain of Tibet are seen from some view points on the trek. It is also pilgrimage sopt of holy Gosainkunda Lake. A mountain lake, and an important Hindu pilgrimage site in the Himalaya, Gosainkunda is also a popular trekking destination. Seperated by a mountain pass from Gosainkunda is the Helambu region. Langtang, Gosainkunda and Helambu are independent treks on their own but they can be combined to make treks from one week to 15 days long .
