Udine (province)

Province of Udine is in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.


  • Udine - historic capital of the Friuli region, a very nice town centre with venetian architecture
  • Aquileia - one of the main archaeological sites in Northern Italy, once a flourishing roman town now presents roman ruins and a beautiful medieval basilica with mosaics
  • Cividale del Friuli - pretty medieval town with a spectacular bridge and Langobard architecture which is a Unesco World Heritage Site
  • Fagagna - small medieval town with a castle and part of the club The most beautiful villages in Italy
  • Venzone - picturesque medieval town completely surrounded by walls
  • Palmanova - renaissance town and first example of a star fort city in the world
  • Tarvisio - popular town for winter sports especially for its skiing facilities
