Tumbi Umbi is in the Central Coast region. Tumbi Umbi is south of Tuggerah lake on the NSW Central Coast. One interpretation of the name is that is an aboriginal word meaning, place of Tall Trees. It is probably most famous for the Mingara Recreation club, which is one of the largest community clubs on the Central Coast.
