The main destination from Tanjung Gemok is Tioman island. At least three different ferry companies run scheduled services to/from the island:

  • CataFerry [4]
  • Dragon Star Ferry [5]
  • Tioman Ferry Service [6]

Bus tickets to Kuala Lumpur can be bought from the ferry terminal. Also Restoran Mutiara Biru Bay sells bus tickets to KL.

It is also possible to take a local bus to Rompin (north) or Mersing (south) and from there an express bus to north (Kuantan, Pekan) or south (Johor Bahru, Singapore).
