Comments[edit]

OK, I reset this, moving listings that were not National Forest Service administered out to towns and installing the National Park outline. Perhaps someone more experienced could comment on what listings are desired. I looked at Yosemite, and I did not see listings for hotels from surrounding towns, etc. The region is also called "White Mountains", so that is also available to highlight regional attractions etc. OldPine 14:58, 16 July 2006 (EDT)

I think it makes sense to move listings for places that aren't actually in the WMNF to the articles for the towns they're in (or the region article if the towns are too tiny to sustain an article of their own). But since lodging in the Forest itself is fairly limited, it would be Useful To The Traveler™ to put a comment in the Sleep section of this article directing people to those towns as another option. - Todd VerBeek 15:16, 16 July 2006 (EDT)

Wilderness Area[edit]

I edited information concerning wilderness areas which is out of date. AS of 2006 there were 6 wilderness areas including the newly designated Wild River Area.Roger Simmons --65.175.153.209 02:14, 10 January 2015
