There is one weekly flight with the Portuguese airline TAP from Lisbon to São Tomé, but they dont fly themselves. You will actually sit in an extremely old airplane by a Portuguese charter company called White Airways.
After checking out TAP's website for a flight schedule, the site indicates that they operate the flight ("TAP operated flight" when viewing destinations). The website for White Airways (translated from Portuguese) does not have any info, but they only have 2 planes that could operate this route (3 of their planes are "VIP"). Maybe it was just a one-time occurrence that TAP needed a plane for this route and didn't have any available. I'm going to cut out the part about White, because at any rate, booking is through TAP and there is only 1 weekly flight. AHeneen 21:56, 19 January 2012 (EST)
