Tuk tuk rides
I have only taken one tuk tuk ride and he asked for 20000 and reduced it to 15000, can anyone else confirm the previously listed price of 3-5000? I have changed it for now to say 3000-20,000kip for those who are not hagglers. West bridge to south bridge was 15k, So I doubt the far bus depos are only 10k (just over US$1).--Hypo Mix (talk) 00:55, 26 December 2015 (EST)
The eat section seems a mess with restaurants on the other side of the city appearing next to each other (and some mixed style foods deemed "western"), I might divide the section up by region unless there is any objections? --Hypo Mix (talk) 23:06, 19 December 2015 (EST)
My fiance and I have just returned from Laos and we enjoyed every minute. Whilst we were in Pakse, we ate at Nazim based on the reviews, but we were sadly disappointed. Nazim is no longer located on the main street, it is now in a side street which has dramatically reduced their clientele and the quality of the food as a consequence. Most of the menu selections were unavailable due to a lack of supplies and the meal which we received was not an authentic indian dish, but rather, something thrown together by the chef with what was available. My recommendation would be to think twice before eating there as there are likely to be better options on the main street and the waterfront. In my opinion, reference to the Nazim restaurant should be removed from this page as tourists use it to guide their dining choices and Nazim falls far short of the mark.
