Title grammar[edit]

Sorry to be a grammar stickler, but I find it really irritatingly incorrect for it to read "seven eight and ~ ninth". Cardinal and ordinal numbers should not be mixed like that, and commas are needed as well. It should correctly read "7th, 8th, and Upper 9th Wards". Can we rename it again please? texugo 11:39, 27 June 2011 (EDT)

Okay, I'll do so. (I guess I should have waited longer for feedback on the proposed move on the New Orleans talk page). I was trying to keep it as short as practical for simplicity, but I certainly wasn't intending to inflict any pain on grammar sticklers. Cheers and thanks. Infrogmation 11:46, 27 June 2011 (EDT)
I was actually thinking New Orleans/7th Ward-St Roch, while fuzzier, might be a better name. Upper 9th makes me immediately think Bywater. I'll defer to your judgment, though, since I've obviously spent much less time in the city. --Peter Talk 19:20, 27 June 2011 (EDT)

One other question, do you think the entries we have on Broad St (right on the border: Broad St Cafe, McHardy's, Domino Sound Records Shack) should stay in the Mid-City article or go into this one? --Peter Talk 19:26, 27 June 2011 (EDT)

Yes, I think Broad is the best dividing line. Domino Sound Records -- on Bayou Road? Definitely "7th Ward". There's a nice cafe right across the street, "Black Coffee Cafe". That's a part of the old 7th Ward that's actually doing better than much of it. I have a few more things I'll add about area. Infrogmation 20:23, 27 June 2011 (EDT)
