Hey MAJ, I know we've got a lot of bar links on here already, but I'd really like to add a couple more (perhaps some of the others might go?) Particularly Sak's Café, and a brief mention of the area around Rue d'Ecole de Médecin which has 6 of the best bars in Geneva -- Uchuha 05:22, 2003 Nov 7 (PST)

dood! Plunge forward. -- Evan 06:04, 7 Nov 2003 (PST)
cool. I had just read the prescription against becoming a yellow pages.... ;) -- Uchuha 08:12, 2003 Nov 7 (PST)
Yes. We don't need every bar in Geneva, but if you think there are some notable ones missing, by all means add them. The worst thing that could happen is that they eventually get weeded out. -- Evan 08:16, 7 Nov 2003 (PST)

On another note, this article probably needs to be reformatted to match the big city article template. Maj originally copied it from her Geneva guide on It's one of our first actual articles, and predates most of the article templates. Anyways, it could use an update, I think. -- Evan 08:46, 7 Nov 2003 (PST)

Yeah, I was just thinking that. I'll probably give the whole thing a once over in the coming days -- Uchuha 08:49, 2003 Nov 7 (PST)

Wow! This article is looking so great, I'm going to link to it from the Main Page. There's still some gaps, but nothing we can't handle. Good job, everyone! --Evan 07:38, 3 Dec 2003 (PST)

Can you mention the gaps here? I already know that I should put in a bit about internet access, but what else would you like to see? -- Mark 09:15, 3 Dec 2003 (PST)
It needs a mention about the Edelweiss Restaurant. Yann 17:20, 18 Jan 2004 (EST)
Plunge forward! --Evan 17:44, 18 Jan 2004 (EST)

I´m no so sure about the change putting the parks in a bullet point list. It doesn´t really communicate the same info as the paragraph it replaces, since that was more about the idea of the parks in general, and resources for finding out more. I think just having a list instead is too terse, and kindof dull -- Mark 06:35, 30 Dec 2003 (PST)

Well, I'm the one who broke up the "parks" into the three parks. My feeling was that it was more useful to travellers to have detailed information (location, directions, descriptions) for each park than just a suggestion to visit parks in general. --Evan 15:38, 30 Dec 2003 (PST)
It seems like this makes them into tiny little barely worthy See entries instead of the intended Do entry which was meant to tell travellers that Geneva has a lot of parks, and that it's a good idea to invest some time into figuring out where there are, with some examples.
