Your Ignorance and biased of this artctle is very wrong. The rebel are not of Chechen decent but outsiders from the middle east. Who Came here and ethically cleansed Muslims who would not convert to there radical faith. They are considers enemies of Islam for radical believes.
"Chechens are muslims and common sense should be taken when drinking alcohol", what the hell is that suppose to mean? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 184.108.40.206 (talk • contribs)
- In my estimation, that statement would qualify as fatuous blather. But our philosophy is, if you see something wrong, fix it! --Peter Talk 16:32, 25 February 2008 (EST)
- In my estimation, it would qualify as a caution to keep in mind the sensibilities of muslim persons who might be potentially offended by your open consumption of alcohol, which is haram. Furthermore it would be wise to mention that the persons you would most take care not to offend are the well-known radical militants who have historically enjoyed cracking down on liberal behavior in a most unpleasant fashion. I don't think it's outlandish or insensitive to suggest one take care not to flaunt or make a point of their consumption of alcohol in this or any other conservative locale. Enjoy it if you like, but do so discreetly and with respect to the locals. --220.127.116.11 16:15, 15 June 2011 (EDT)
The location in Russia is not correct. I am trying to upload the Chechnya location from wikipedia, but it fails that there is already a file with the same content (I couldn't find it). I tried uploading on shared, but if failed with an error with some weird number. —The preceding comment was added by D rc (talk • contribs)
- Hi D rc, thank you for pointing this out. I've updated the map (see here). Images from the Wikimedia Commons or Wikipedia are often usable in Wikitravel, so we don't really need to upload the file to the Shared. Please feel free to leave a message on the Pub or on my talk page if you have any further questions. I will be looking forward to more of your contributions. Cheers! --Binbin (talk) 05:20, 18 July 2017 (EDT)
