Talk:Charlotte
Charlotte should have a map before it becomes a star article. Now: I do enjoy creating maps but I have never been to Charlotte, and I am hesitant to create maps for places I have not been to and am not familiar with. That said, if no one else wants to do the map(s) I can do it next week. Again, I am not familiar with Charlotte, but I would propose an overview map of the metro area for the main page and also a detail of Charlotte/Uptown to start with. Does this seem reasonable? What area does the overview map need to cover? Everything within the I-485 ring? If no one else wants to do the map then it would be great if a local could answer the questions I have raised above, and please leave a note on my talk page as I may forget to check back here in a reasonable timeframe. bulliver 18:48, 31 July 2007 (EDT)
Awesome![edit]Awesome work to all the contributors of Charlotte! It is truely an amazing article! I'm hoping to find someone who can help me find what districts exist beyond this middle area. I'd like to know what district the airport is in, for example, which will help the Sleep section get better organized. I checked the official tourist site of Charlotte but the maps didn't go that far west. Zepppep 22:27, 16 November 2009 (EST)
Bus Fare Update[edit]I just rode Charlotte Area Transit and noted that the new fare for the bus is $1.75, rather than the $1.50 noted on this site. i'd update the article, but cannot do so from my phone's crippled browser. Can I impose on one of you more technologically adept individuals to do it for me? Thanks. TheInfamousJ 10:35, 02 October 2011 (EDT) |
