The claim that Greek bars substitute proper alcohol with methanol for cheapness sake is a load of dung. Methanol is poisonous, very much so. There have been cases around the world where methanol somehow gets mixed in with alkohol supply chain and there are always lots of corpses at the end of the day. Nobody does that in order to cheap out. Filling more expensive bottle from cheaper bottle, now that I can believe, standard practice all around the world.
