Szlak Orlich Gniazd
Szlak Orlich Gniaz (Eagle's Nests' Trail) is a long trail from Kraków to Częstochowa. There're ruins of famous Jura Mountain castles on the path. The trail is marked in red. Some trail's parts are common with Via Regia.
You've to take first aid kit, comfortable clothes and boots and long sleeve to protect against ticks.

Places on the trail're rather safe. Natural hazards as ticks, wild boars or poisonous snakes're much more common. If you see a tick on your body or you become bitten by viper (Żmija Zygzakowata), the only one poisonous Polish snake, call the doctor or emergency!. Snake bites can be dangerous for allergic. Wild boars attack humans when they feel endangered or provoke. If you see them crossing, keep calm and don't move fast. Vipers're much common in dry summer.
Places on Szlak Orlich Gniazd're popular tourist destination so finding a person knowing at least one foreign language won't be any problem.
Częstochowa's located about 1h from Katowice Airport and about 2h from Kraków one.
