See: Fix-up to previous commit (spelling+ some prices checked on the official page)
Many of Istanbul’s historical gems, mostly consisting of Byzantine and Ottoman-built monuments are in Old City. Most are located a short walk away from, if not immediately on the edges of, Sultanahmet Square. Some other sights are dispersed throughout the peninsula.
The Museum Pass İstanbul [http://muze.gov.tr/museum_pass] is a good way to visit Chora Museum(20 30 TL), Hagia Sophia Museum (40 TL), Topkapı Palace Museum (40 TL) and Harem Apartments (15 25 TL), İstanbul Archaeological Museums (15 20 TL), İstanbul Mosaic Museum (10 TL) and Museum of Turkish and İslamic Arts with one ticket and without having to queue (prices as of October 2016). This ticket costs 85 TL and is valid for 5 consecutive days, there are also discounts for other museums and shops. Available in several hotels or at the entrance to any of the above museums. If you want to save time and not line up to buy the museum pass, you can use the machines dedicated to that at the entrance of some of the above museums (at least Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace) but keep on in mind that these machines only accept credit card (no cash).
