Skala Eressou is in Lesvos.


Skala Eressou is the port area connected to the inland town of Eressos.

Get in[edit]

Buses run from Mytiline to Skala Eressos via Kalloni. It can take from 2.5 to 3.5 hours to travel there. The trip costs about 10,75€ each way.

You may also rent a car to travel there.

You can go everywhere in Skala Eressos on foot.

Open-air cinema: Nearly every evening the small open-air cinema shows films in English with Greek subtitles. Tickets are about 7 Euros.

Excursions through Sappho Travel: Every day except Friday, you can join a sailboat excursion to a destination near Skala Eressos. Destinations include the Petrified Forest and a sunset cruise. Prices vary from 20 to 50 Euros.

The Petrefied Forest of Sigri--a rental car for 50 Euros per day is the best way to reach it from Skala Eressou. Otherwise, you will have to take a taxi for 40 Euros each way.
