San Gabriel is a city in the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California.
San Gabriel is north of Interstate 10 from the New Ave. exit about 9 miles (14 km) east of downtown Los Angeles.

Daily: 9AM-4:30PM; Closed New Years Day, Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. This church was one of the 21 missions on the California Misison Trail. It was established in 1771. Today, the church and grounds have been restored and contain a small museum. The first Saturday of each month features special programs. This mission is one of the smaller missions and can be seen in 1 or 2 hours. Adults: $5, Seniors (62 and older): $4, Youth (6-17): $3, 5 and under: free. edit
