Sale is just 15 minutes from Manchester Airport or around 35 minutes from Liverpool airport
Sale is serviced by the Metrolink rail (Tram) system, that runs across South Manchester. It has 3 stations at Brooklands, Sale Station (Town Centre access) and Dane Road station. Trams run regularly from Manchester city centre through to Altrincham
Over a hundred years old and still the centre of Sale's wildlife, in amongst the pleasant grounds, there are many breeds of birds and squirrels on view. Also, a skate ramp, play areas and statue to the Physicist JP Joule.
Sale Water Park
The water park is open throughout the year, allowing canoeing, boating, surfing and a host of water based activities. Lessons and guides can be pre-booked.
The BridgeWater Canal. A pleasant walk through along the towpath, north to Stretford, or south to Altrincham. Passes next to the Bridge Inn pub and the Metro Station.
Sale has a wide variety of eateries and is famed for its food from all over the world. Take a stroll along Sales main thoroughfare and within less than 200 metres of walking you can sample the delights of Italian, Indian, Chinese, Greek, Turkish, American, Argentinian and as well as traditional home cooked pub food. Many of these offer a take away option.
Within a short walking distance to the three tram stations there are a number of pubs.
