Roseville is a city in Minnesota. It is located just 10 minutes north of both major downtowns.


The City of Roseville has emerged as one of the top hub and spoke destinations for individuals visiting Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. It is surrounded by a wide array of colleges, universities, theaters and the largest fairgrounds in the Midwest, Roseville is the ideal location to stay when coming to the Twin Cities. This first ring suburb of 33,690 offers a variety of hotel accommodations, beautiful parks, upscale shopping, nationally known restaurants and world class speed skating facility.

Roseville Parks and Recreation is proud to be recognized as one of three Minnesota agencies (and 77 agencies nationwide) to have earned national accreditation from the Commission of Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies.

  • Cedarholm golf course. (County Road B2 and Hamline). Roseville Cedarholm Golf Course is a par-three, nine-hole course lined with beautiful gardens and mature trees and can consistently be played in less than two hours by golfers of all ages and abilitie.
  • John Rose Oval. (County Road C between Hamline and Lexington) The OVAL is a unique outdoor recreation facility with 110,000 square feet of refrigerated ice from November to March. The OVAL has a 400 meter speed skating track surrounding an infield ice area used for hockey or bandy.

  • Irish Fair of Minnesota. (Harriet Island, Cross over Wabasha Street bridge and you’ll see the park on your right), ([email protected]). Takes place in August at Harriet Island, just south of Downtown.
  • Minnesota State Fair. ☎ +1 651 288-4400, [21]. Takes place from mid-August through Labor Day and is one of the largest state fairs in the US. The main entrance to the State Fairgrounds is located at 1265 Snelling Avenue N, but you will first have to drive to one of the lots outside of the fairgrounds. As an alternative, you could take a bus. Metro Transit routes 3 and 84 stop near the fairgrounds, and they also operate shuttles during the fair that offer non-stop service to the fairgrounds from various park-and-ride lots located throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. $9 adults (13-64), $8 seniors (65 & over) and children (5-12), free for children under 5. Parking costs $9.
