Rawene [3] is a town in Hokianga, New Zealand.

Here is one of the oldest European settlements in New Zealand - Rawene is the third-oldest town in New Zealand. It is a picturesque village on a peninsula jutting into the Harbour about half-way up. Dolphins and Orca are often seen this far up, sometimes following the ferry that travels across the Harbour at this point.
