This village is famous for attracting many wealthy sea captains in centuries past. When the Bay of Kotor was part of the Austrian empire, Emperor Franz Josef came here and was greeted by several dozens of uniformed ship captains.
By bus, Prčanj is well connected from Kotor. 4km (10 mins). Otherwise, taxis can be arranged in Kotor. A trip to/from Kotor old town/bus station by meter run taxi will cost around EUR 5 (summer 2016).
