Norefjell is a small mountain area in the province of Buskerud, Norway. There is a very small ski area here, however there are not many ski lifts, and the ski area is not large. If you have skied in the European ski resorts then you may be disappointed with this ski area.

There is a also a hotel near the ski area, a large hotel with about 1900 beds, however, transport up to the hotel is difficult, and also it is around 13km from the village. The road is often snow covered in winter, making the drive to/from the hotel sometimes difficult. So once you are at the hotel, you are rather limited. Better to stay down in the village and then just visit the mountain.

The nearest village to the ski area is Noresund, which is served by express buses about 4 times a day from Oslo. There is a hotel (Sole Hotel) in the village, and two petrol stations, and two small supermarkets. One of the main roads to Bergen passes through the village of Noresund.
