Napa is a city in the San Francisco Bay Area region in the state of California known for its wine country.

Napa is 50 miles north of San Francisco in the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley wine country.

As is usually the case, wine country means a Mediterranean climate. This generally means that while weather around Napa could reach very high temperatures, it rarely reaches temperatures far below freezing temperature. If weather is an important concern for you, spring and autumn will be the best times of year for weather.
