Mansfield (Texas) is a fast growing city south of Arlington, between Dallas and Fort Worth.

By air[edit]

DFW Airport [5] is the closest major Airport. Approximate travel time from DFW to downtown Mansfield is 45 minutes.

Love Field (DAL) is nearby in Dallas. Approximate travel time from Love Field to downtown Mansfield is 55 minutes.

Spinks Airport (FWS) [6] is the closest private jetport. Approximate travel time from Spinks to downtown Mansfield is 25 minutes.

Mansfield is located off US 287 South of I-20.

By train[edit]

There are two Amtrak [7] routes which serve Dallas/Fort Worth, the Texas Eagle between San Antonio and Chicago, and the Heartland Flyer between Fort Worth and Oklahoma City. The closest stations are in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Cleburne.

  • Farr Best Theater, 109 N. Main Street. Mansfield, TX 76063 (100 feet north of the intersection of Main St. and Broad St.), [3]. The Farr Best Theater was built in 1917. In 2007, the theater was restored to its original glory by the Meadows family. The theater provides an intimate, 153-seat venue with outstanding acoustics and state-of-the-art sound, lighting and AV systems.
