Macleod Island is controlled by Myanmar Adman Resort and located in Mergui Archipelago and also known as a private island. It is approximately 75 km far from Kawthaung and it remains unspoilt.
Mergui Archipelago is more than 800 pristine islands that scarttered in the Adman Sea. The lack of the region has flora and fauna both above and below the waves. Highest elevation is nearly 200m (655 ft) above sea level.The island has three soft whitesand besches surrounded by tropical wilderness. The three beaches feature proximity to pristine dive sites. Each is located in easy walking distance from the beach. It is the vast area off the west coast of Myanmar.
How to get the destination is an important point.It is located in the heart centered of the archipelago.Visitors may reach not only from Myanmar but also from Ranong(Thailand). Both route will meet at the Kawthaung airport and then go to the jetty to go to the island.
