Libiąż

Libiąż (Leebyonzh) is a town in Lesser Poland Voivodship. It's an industrial town located near Chrzanów.

History of Helena Kmieć

Helena Kmieć (1991-2017) although was born in Kraków, her whole life was connected with Libiąż. She was a scholarship holder of Leweston School in Sherborne, UK. She studied chemistry technology and engineering on Silesian Polytechnic. She was engaged in religious NGOs. She participated in different voluntary missions f.ex in Africa. She was killed from the night in 24 and 25 of January 2017 in Cochabamba, Bolivia, after the robbery on orphanage. She's buried on Saint Barbara church cemetery. She was not only a volunteer but also a women with a beautiful voice.

• Saint Barbara church (Ks.Pieli street). Contemporary church with an interesting interior. There're a small park with a chapel inspired by miners' life. The church's located near park on Górnicza street. Helena Kmieć' s buried on local cemetery.
• Transfiguration church (Oświęcimska street). Beautiful church from beginning of 20 century . It's located near Jane's Park.
• Polish Catholic church. Pyramid-shaped church in district of Moczydło
• ponds. Three ponds Rzepka, Średni Stawek and Pusty Stawek are good for walks

There're open air swimming pools in City Sport Center. There're also other sport facilities. Local hills and forests are good for hiking.
