Kazungula marks the border of four African countries - Namibia, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The town supports the huge road transit point that is the ferry terminal here. Many trucks wait for between 7 and 14 days to cross the river (approx 20 trucks cross the river per day), and Kazangula's population service these transient drivers and hoards of tourists being ferried to and fro from Zambia to Chobe in Botswana, every day. Daily single entry visas cost US$50/day (correct in April 2012).
