Kampung Naga is a very unique village in Tasikmalaya regency, West Java, Indonesia. It's inhabited by a community of people with very strong tradition that they keep for centuries. They live in traditional simplicity and without using modern day facilities.
The village is between cities of Garut and Tasikmalaya in a beautiful valley of Neglasari village. You can get here either by bus, renting a motorbike or hitchhiking from each of these cities. Once you reach the village, there long staircase leading downhill the rice fields, where this traditional village lies across the river.
If you are a foreign visitor, you should respect their way of life. Don't impose your habits which can be considered rude. Don't be loud, be humble and polite. Understand that these people are not tourist attraction.
