By Bus / Tram
Either use A43 to Sprockhövel or Herbede, or get in via B51, which passes Hattingen city center.
A comprehensive bus network connects the city centre to most parts of the city on weekdays between 6 am and 6 pm. For other times, there are evenign- and night buses on some routes, but don't expect to reach
Hattingen Old Town features nearly 150 timber-framed houses and a medieval central square around the church.

Sports and Outdoor
The central pedestrian area is located behind the big mall at the central bus station and railway station. Hattingen Old Town (Altstadt) features a number of nice little stores.
