The Csipike, Miklós and Kossuth ski slopes are located on the eastern edge of Harghita Băi resort, near the Balu Adventure Park. The ski area has 5 different difficulty slopes, served by 3 ski lifts. The Csipike and Miklós slopes have a nocturnal facility that runs from 19:00 until 21:00, provided there is a minimum number of skiers on the slopes. On these slopes, you first descend on the slopes, then climb with the ski lifts! The ski season depends on the natural snow and is between December and March, sometimes until May. Snow guns just add an extra layer on the slopes.
Izvoru Mureşului Ski slope is the emblem of the resort. In the past, it has hosted several "Snow Celebrations" editions, and is currently the tourist's engine during the winter. It is situated on the Grețeș mountain, at a height of 900 m. It was modernized in 2013 by the Forestry Shareholders "Terkő" from Tomeşti, which made works for the development of the slope and also placed a 1200 m long ski lift. The Speranța ski complex was developed within the national skiing program in Romania with financial support from the Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism. At the base of the slopes there is a tourist center, where there is a restaurant, a ticket house, a toilet, a rescue center, a ski rental point.
The ski slope in Băile Tușnad is a red slope with medium difficulty level and is 500 meters long. The starting altitude is 750 meters, it has a difference of 100 meters and the inclination of 22%. It is spread over 40 meters wide, occupies 2 hectares and has a descent altitude of 650 meters. Tușnad ski slope has a maximum capacity of 700 people. It is serviced by a ski lift and a baby ski with mobile chair, snow cannons, nocturnal and ski pass with magnetic cards.
Piricske is a red slope with a slightly medium difficulty degree and is 300 meters long. It has a difference of 54 meters, a 24% inclination and is served by a ski lift cable. The lift capacity is 30 people and the slope is equipped with night lighting. At Piricske Slope you can get with your car. After leaving Miercurea Ciuc on DN 13 A, go 15 km on this road and then you will see the indicator towards Piricske - turn right and follow the road and after 1.5 km you will reach Tihna Muntelui Guesthouse. The Piricske / Piricica Slope is 50 meters away.

The recreational base of the Praid salt mine is located at "Horizon 50", which is 120 m below the surface.
