Grapevine is a city in Texas that is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The city's moniker is derived from the native grapes prevalent in the area. The city has taken steps to maintain its historic downtown corridor, which now includes a variety of antique stores, restaurants, bars, theaters, a park, and many specialty shops.

Grapevine is located just north of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport; therefore, the city is easily accessed by air. Many hotels in the city have their own shuttles to/from the airport.

By car[edit]

Grapevine is more or less equidistant from both downtown Dallas and Fort Worth. State Highways 121, 114, and 360 and Interstate 635 all converge in Grapevine.
