Germantown (Wisconsin)

Default Banner.jpg

Germantown is a village surrounding the Town of Germantown in Washington County in Wisconsin.

Understand[edit]

As you might think, Germantown puts an emphasis on the residents' German heritage. The architecture and several of the festivals and events during the year illustrate this fact.

Get in[edit]

By plane[edit]

The easiest way to get to Germantown by taking a plane would be to fly into General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee and then drive the 40 minutes north into Germantown. Because of connecting flights, it may be easier to fly into O'Hare International Airport in Chicago and take the bus or train the rest of the way to Milwaukee.

By bus[edit]

There is a bus system provided by Washington County that has several stops on Wisconsin Avenue and will take you to the Germantown Park & Ride on Lannon Road, which is right by the Germantown exit from I-43.
