The province of Ferrara is in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.


  • Ferrara - beautiful renaissance city with various important medieval buildings such as its castle and cathedral, the renaissance palaces are a Unesco World Heritage Site
  • Cento - beautiful medieval/renaissance town, also called the small Bologna because of the same styled city centre and great amount of porticoes
  • Comacchio - very nice town built, like Venice on a series of islands on a lagoon and with a series of canals running through its city centre
