Stay safe[edit]

As anywhere, always be aware of your surroundings, especially in poor areas. Except for the Western suburbs, and the Stapleton and Montebello neighborhoods of Northeast Denver, most of the areas along I-70 in the Denver Metro are industrial and impoverished, and might be best avoided (at least at night) if you're unfamiliar with these areas. Westside Denver is a poor area as well. But despite all mentioned though, the Denver Metropolis is a lot safer than many other American cities and their metros, just use caution when you are in a area that looks shady to you.
