Denarau island is the name of an area on the island of Viti Levu in Fiji.

Denarau Island is a private upscale development located 5 km north west of Nadi and is 10 km from Nadi International Airport. This 2.55 km sq resort is home to various international chains.

Located in Denerau Island is Port Denarau. For those heading to the beautiful island chains of the Mamanuca Islands and Yasawa Islands, this is where you leave from. Port Denarau is also a shopping precinct while also containing various restaurants, Hard Rock Cafe, a supermarket, bakery, hairdresser's and tour operators.

With luxury resorts/hotels fringed on the outside, the centrepiece is the 18-hole Denarau Golf Course.

Despite the name, Denarau Island is not an actual island, it can be accessed by boat or a short drive from Nadi International Airport.
