Coraopolis (colloquially known as Cory) is a town located on the Ohio River approximately 10 miles west of Pittsburgh, PA. It was a millworkers town based off the American Bridge Company. Currently, it is an older community with a quaint walkable downtown.
Bike - Coraopolis is the trail head of the Montour Trail. From here you can bike from the Pittsburgh Airport or connect to the Great Allegheny Passage which makes it way to Cumberland, MD or further to Washington DC.
With a large Italian community there are an abundance of Pizzarias in town.
Currently there are no hotels in downtown Coraopolis. The closest would be neighboring Moon Township.
